Job Summary:
The Cold Calling Executive will be responsible for making outbound calls to potential customers or clients who have had no prior interaction with the company. The primary objective is to introduce the company's products or services, qualify leads, and set up appointments for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers or clients and create a target list
- Make outbound cold calls to potential customers or clients and introduce the company's products or services
- Use persuasive language and objection-handling skills to generate interest in the company's offerings
- Qualify leads by gathering information on their needs, budget, and decision-making process
- Set up appointments for the sales team with qualified leads
- Maintain a detailed record of all calls made, including call logs, call duration, and customer feedback
- Collaborate with the sales team to follow up on leads and close sales
- Stay up-to-date on the company's products, services, and pricing plans
- Attend training sessions and team meetings to improve communication and sales skills
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a cold calling or telemarketing role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong persuasion and objection handling skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software is a plus
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Ability to handle rejection and maintain composure under pressure
